Hey Bobby(or whoever lol),

I am having another issue with tails. It will no longer publish to any repo that I make. I am using the classic tokens, not fine grained tokens as it instructed. I even used an empty repo with a newly made branch with nothing but .git files in it and even made a new token for tails and it still will not publish. I didn't want to bother y'all so when you check the logs, you will see that I tried several times lol.

By the way, I really like the new UI. I am very fast with a keyboard and my magic trackpad so the rate limit gets me sometimes but I understand why it is present. I like the computer verification process as well. It is a good way to prevent bots.

Hey Kaprinkey,

Thanks for letting me know. There was an issue with submitting to a new repo. It would try and find the previous commit and then create a new commit with the latest updates. But if it was a new repo it couldn't find the previous one.

That's strange that you were experiencing an issue on a previous repo as well. I've just tested it under your account and everything seems to be working fine now, but if you run into anything else please feel free to let me know and I'll dig into it.

Thanks again! Hope you have an aweseome day :)

Tony,

Thank you for the response. I just checked the repo where you pushed too and the files are present.

I know I said I made a new repo and I did but it was after I could not publish to the repo I had been using which was keithprinkey-ops/keithprinkey.bio. This was the repo with the previous commit and that also did not work for whatever reason. I thought perhaps my token expired so I added a new one and it still failed. That is when I made a new repo and etc.

However, it worked 2 days ago when you pushed it so that kind of confuses me because it is the same publishing source in which my attempts failed.

Tony,

I just published from tails to the same repo you pushed 2 days ago and it didnt work for me? It said it was successfully published but the repo never got the actual files? The last commit on both branches was 2 days ago when you pushed. Again, it said my push was successful but the files were never sent it appears.

UPDATE: It worked this time. I changed the branch from tails to main and it works just fine. Thank you for the help!
